We all have questions. Here's a few answers to questions often asked by parents when seeking to enroll in our program.
How can I register for the Summer Session?
You can register and purchase your child's slot right here on our website. You can call us on (718) 994-6378 to make an appointment for a site visit. To register in-person, complete an application and have the medical forms signed by your child's doctor, along with a non-refundable deposit of 50% to hold your child's space.
What if my child is demonstrating symptoms at camp?
A child with symptoms of coughing, sneezing, sore throat, headache, discharge from the eyes, etc will not be permitted to attend the summer session. If they develop symptoms after they are left at the program, parents will be notified to come pick up their child.
What if my child has an IEP in school?
Parents with children with an IEP must be made aware of the program during the registration process. Failure to disclose this information may result in removal from the summer program. Our staff can review the IEP with you and discuss the needs of your child and work with you to provide real outcomes for your child's learning experience at Nest Music.
What is the minimum age to enroll?
The minimum age requirement for typical children is five years old, but if your child can walk for distances of 2 miles and use the bathroom on their own without assistance.
What are the enrollment requirements?
- We require parents to provide state or federal identification.
- A medical form completed by the child's doctor.
- A completed application/contract and enrollment fee.
Are there any discounts available?
Nest Music offers several discounts:
- Early-Bird-a savings of $450 for an entire six-week program, if you register before 2/16 (no other discounts can be applied to this discount.
- Siblings discounts of 15% for each child when registering two or more children (no other discount can be applied to this offer).
- Special Offers discounts via email, so look for those.
What's a typical daily schedule?
- 8:00 am to 9:00 am Check-in (breakfast Time)
- 9:00 to 9: 45 am morning roll-call & group activity
- 10:00 to 10:45 am Morning Song & meditation.
- 11:00 to 11:45 am Guided Active learning (brand building)
- 12:00 to 1:00 pm Lunch
- 1:00 to 2:00 pm Economy Discussion
- 2:15 to 3:00 pm Dance / Physical Expression.
- 3:15 to 4:00 pm Dismissal and/or Drop-off.

What are some of the key areas that your curriculum focuses on?
The key focus of our curriculum is music. Through lessons in instrumentation, meditation, and expression, students are able to use the skills they learn to apply them to their personal lives and academic careers. We've recently added problem-solving through lessons in coding and entrepreneurship.
